“What attracted me to finance was that as a kid growing up, I always had this innate curiosity and desire to figure out how things work; how do countries grow? How do countries integrate? What makes a country richer or more successful than another?. I always had that global mindset and so naturally gravitated towards the field of economics, monitor policy, international trade and overall world economy. However, I soon realized that you cannot really get the nuances or understand these concepts without knowing how the financial and banking system works.
History taught me that once you get the financing right, you can grow. Once you unleash the power of financial services, the ability to transfer money from those who save to those who invest to grow industries, businesses and provide jobs and build wealth, you can really grow. That’s what has made America the greatest economic success story the world has ever seen. Since it is based on free enterprise and the ability to deploy capital. I understand this very well and have always lived that life. It empowers me from a knowledge perspective and I can really understand what’s going on whether I read the news or hear the captives of industry speaking and how things correlate.
Financial services have enabled and blessed me to form different companies in different types of industries. It provides people with a runaway to actually practice economic freedom.
