Driving profitable organic growth through pricing (especially in B2B markets) can feel daunting to many leaders. Strategic pricing is not for the faint of heart but the rewards are well worth the effort. Pricing effectively requires leaders who are analytically and strategically inclined and have a talent for building strong and trusted relationships and finding win-win solutions for the company and its customers. For that reason, it surprises me that more women haven’t chosen a career in pricing as many women naturally possess these skills.

Recently, I had the honor of being recognized by Zilliant as one of the Five Women in Pricing You Need to Know, where I explored this topic. I reflected on how women’s abilities to build trusted relationships and engage in meaningful dialogues can drive pricing and revenue management success. These roles demand a nuanced understanding of market dynamics, coupled with the ability to navigate conversations that lead to profitable outcomes.
