My Pathway to Personal and Professional Fulfillment - Angela Mangiapane on the GBS Masterminds Podcast
During the course of my career, I’ve learned the critical importance of bringing my true self to work. My personal journey has truly fueled the professional success as I have sought out purpose-driven work that continues to lead to transformational change. I’ve been privileged to hold a variety of leadership roles in multiple business sectors and geographies that have shaped my unique global perspective. As a passionate leader, I’m committed to sharing my experiences and lessons learned to help others embrace the personal and empower the professional.
Recently, I had the opportunity to speak at “The GBS Masterminds Podcast” titled “Six Million Dollar Questions”. We discussed my journey, my take on remaining relevant, as well as the importance of embracing our responsibility to leave the world a better place.

“With over 30 years of experience, Angela has had a very inspiring career. She went from an analyst to the president of Mars Global Services. Angela, can you tell us about your journey?”
“I am Canadian, born and raised in Toronto. A daughter of Italian immigrants who came to Canada in the 60s. They imparted a strong work ethic, the value of education, and the importance of always giving back. This is one of the reasons I have stayed at Mars because of their values being very purpose-driven and being a principle-led organization. It has given me the opportunity to work on three different continents across our various businesses and functions. It has very much given me the function to learn and grow every day. Most importantly, the opportunity to instill in the people I lead the importance of learning new skills continually, building human capabilities, and contributing and giving back.
“Throughout my career at Mars, it has been very much focused on female mentorship. Recently, the Mars platform has allowed me to participate in the Kalinga Foundation. This is a foundation that is about eradicating gender-based violence. My journey has given me professional fulfillment along with the opportunity to fulfill my personal goals.”
